Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus launched with dual-sAMOLED display

One of the most anticipated flagship smartphones in 2017, the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus have been announced in China today. As we all have expected and seen in earlier leaks, both the smartphones come with Samsung-made super AMOLED panels on both front and rear. The secondary display on the rear is mounted near to the left edge with dual-camera attached with it. It can be used for checking notifications, controlling other device options, capturing selfies using rear camera, etc.

Concerning the design, the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones look exactly same as in the previous leaks and press renders. Unlike other OEMs, Meizu had made a significant distance between standard and Plus variants of the device in term of Hardware configuration.

Also the internal storage is 128GB. I case you didn’t notice, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus is the first smartphone in the markets to come with MediaTek’s all new 10nm based deca-core processor Helio X30.  Both the smartphone will run Android 7.0 based FlymeOS out of the box.

The Meizu seems to have made a change in the battery capacity too, te Plus variant has a 3500mAh battery while the normal Pro 7 is boosted up with a battery having 500mAh lesser capacity. The company has also announced much improved fast car charging technology from the OEM itself namely mCharge 4.0  which could charge up the device battery upto67% in half hour.

As of the company’s usual policy, we might have to look forward that f the company has plans to launch the device only in Asian markets like China, HongKong, India, etc. The price tags for the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus are calibrated to $430 and $530.
