Huawei Honor 5C Goes official with Kirin 650

Huawei has just announced latest device in Honor sub-brand, Honor 5C in china. The Huawei Honor 5C carries some specs same as in the Huawei P9 Lite. The mid-range device carries specs only as some devices currently running in market, except in Chipset.

Huawei Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, powered with Huawei’s In-house Kirin 650 SoC, coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The internal storage consist of 16GB space, which is expandable via dedicated SD Slot. The camera module as rear snapper is of 13MP and with an 8MP front facing camera, both having aperture of f/2.0.

Huawei has mounted a fingerprint scanner on the rear metal panel, just below the camera module. Honor 5C has juiced up with a 3,000mAh battery pack. The device is made of with the dimensions of 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.3mm, weighing 156g. It lacks a USB Type-C port, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, topped with EMUI 4.1. Connectivity side includes 4G LTE Cat.6 and other normal features seen on the devices in same segment.

The Huawei Honor 5C is now available in China for buying, priced at ¥899 ($139) for 3G variant and have to pay $100 more for 4G enabled device. Availability in remaining countries are still remain unknown.
