Google Pixel, Pixel XL to get the Android O Update by August

Recently, the Android Police’s David Ruddock has revealed that Google’s upcoming OS, Android 8.0 will be rolled out in the first or second week of August. The Android O developer preview version and Beta are already released before, has already tipped on the features coming on the latest Android OS.

David Ruddock’s tweet claims that the update will be first received to Pixel devices, followed by Nexus devices. As described by him, the Android O release will be advance from the last year’s Android Nougat rollout. Ruddock also clarifies further, he got this information from a reliable source and there is a chance of changing it later.

It is also anticipated that the Android O release will be beforth of the launch event of new Nexus device series. Usually, the Android updates are rolled out from September but this time it’ll be a bit earlier. We cannot confide with this date unless there is an official announcement from the Search engine giant.
