Andy Rubin’s Essential smartphone surfaces on GFXBench as Essential FIH-PM

It was a big news in the tech industry when the Andy Rubin announced that he is working on his own new smartphone brand Essential. Because he was behind the popular Android operating system. Later he left the Google and started helping tech startups. Now he is working on a new smartphone series. Now, one of his ‘Essential’ smartphones has shown up in the GFXBench as Essential FIH-PM.

A few weeks ago, his phone has leaked as a bezel-less device with a beautiful finish. Now we got some more information about the device from the popular benchmarking site GFXBench. This new phone is named as Essential FIH-PM1 in the GFXBench. As expected, it is a very high-end premium smartphone with a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB of RAM etc. It shows a 12-megapixel main camera with 4K video recording and an 8-megapixel front camera. The weird part is that it shows an 18-inch display. But it might be a typing error or something.

Anyway, let’s see what Andy has to share with us. Stay tuned at AndroidHits for latest updates about the Essential FIH-PM smartphone.
