Smartron device spotted with 6GB RAM on GFXBench

Indian Smartphone manufacturer Smartron was been on to the mid range level since it’s very beginning as a startup brand. The company has recently launched str.phone which is launched by India’s ‘cricket-god’ Sachin Tendulkar. Now a new device appeared on GFXBench hints to a fact that the company is gradually stepping up to the higher levels, next on to the Premium mid range level.

From the GFXBench listing, the Smartron Smartphone carrying the model ID T5525, packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Chipset with 6GB RAM onboard, which is too higher than that of the amount that can be expected from an Indian brand. The device boasts a 5.5 inch full HD display, with only a 16GB of storage space inbuilt. There must be some other higher variants for the smartphone with larger storage spaces. Smartron T5525 sports a 12MP camera on the main camera department, coupled with 5MP front facing one. The Smartphone already runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat installed.

Even the device has already tested by the GFXBench, the company has not outed any kind of information or confirmed the existence of another Smartphone under testing. It is expected to be announced very soon, within a week or two. The Smartron is not actually bothered by an average Indian consumer, but by launching this device with humongous amount of RAM the company will drag some attention among customers from every aspect.
