Samsung unpacking event for Galaxy Note 8 scheduled for August 26

Samsung’s upcoming flagship device Galaxy Note product lineup, the Galaxy Note 8 was expected to launch on IFA Berlin this year in September. Now a new report from Korea qoutes a Samsung employee that the Samsung has already scheduled the official launching of Galaxy Note 8 by August 26 on an Samsung’s signature Unpacking Event to be held at New York , USA.

If we reconsider the last year’s Galaxy Note 7 which was discontinued due to the battery explosion fiasco happened because of internal short circuit, the Note 8 is couple weeks late in launching by date. Many rumors said that the company would drop 6he plan to launch another Note device, yet still yeh company is reportedly in the working of a great phablet with 6.2 or 6.4 inch display. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM onboard. Other specifications include a dual rear facing camera, Iris Scanner and a well positioned fingerprint scanner.

It is obvious that the Samsung’s plan to launch the device earlier than IFA is because of its rival Apple which actually plans to launch iPhone 7s, 7s Plus and 8 by September. The Galaxy Note 8 expectedly to have the similar design and ratio that of Galaxy S8 or S8+.
