Samsung Galaxy On8 unveiled in India with 5.5-inch sAMOLED display and 3GB RAM

Samsung has been recently working on a new device in Galaxy On series, which has been earlier teased by the Indian Online shopping site Flipkart. The device is now officially announced in India with the name On8, the successor of On7 and On7 Pro. Samsung recently changed a lot to compete against Chinese beasts especially among mid-range devices.

Samsung Galaxy On8 is a completely revamped Samsung mid-ranger, which is capable of showing up the powerful specs among those Chinese companies, who are being a threat to Samsung especially in Indian Smartphone Market. Galaxy n8 features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED Full HD Display. Smartphone is powered with the Samsung’s very own Exynos Chipset’s 7th Gen, Exynos 7580 Octa-Core SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM under the hood. The 16GB internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via SD Card, and it supports Dual-SIM. The main camera is of 13Mega Pixels sensor, with a LED Flash and the front camera of 5MP with front flash and f/1.9 Aperture and both of them have Beauty Mode. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Touchwiz on top.

Samsung Galaxy On8 is a meaningfully powerful device from On series, as usual. It is packed with a 3300 mAh battery, which is of optimal capacity compared to other devices in same range, but there’s some room for make improvements. As the device carry Exynos chipset, it is expected to have a great battery efficiency, as we seen in Galaxy J7 (2016). The connectivity side including of Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM Capacity, 2G/3G/4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS/GLONASS , etc. The device is built in the dimensions 151.7x76x7.8mm. Galaxy On8 will be made available in India from October 2nd, through Indian seller Flipkart exclusively at the price tag of 15,999 INR (~$240) in three colors – Black, White and Gold.
