Moto M2 gets Wi-Fi certification

Motorola Moto M series’ second generation device Moto M2 has been leaked in Geekbench revelation earlier last week with complete specs. The device spotted was if the model number Lenovo XT1902-03. Now, another variant of the same model device seems to have been certified by WiFiAlliance for the WiFi bands.

The Moto M2 (XT-1902-02) being certified is powered by Mediatek MT6757 according to the listing. Also the device to carry Mali-T880 GPU and MT6625L WiFi semiconductor. The device will run Android Nougat 7.1.1, which must look so stock-ey as usual.

In case you missed, the previous version leaked in Geekbench listed out the specs Mediatek MT6797, ie. Helio P20 and 4GB RAM under it’s good. Also it scores far batter than preceding Moto M, increased to almost double. It is expected to have a 16MO rear camera coupled with 8MO front camera, along with 5.5 inch display, it’s foretold. As we have seen two variants of the device so far, it is confirmed that Lenovo is most likely to introduce two variants of every models, as we have seen in their every entry level to mid range devices including Moto E3, E4, G4, G5, etc. Are they really planning for Moto M2 and M2 Plus?
