The Mi 6 Plus was expected to launch along with the Mi 6 smartphone. But unfortunately, it didn’t happen. So everyone was expecting another launch anytime soon. Now, this leak fuels up the hopes of Mi fans. But we don’t have any official information or announcement about the existence of this smartphone yet. So we have to wait some more time to get an official confirmation from the brand before going crazy.

However, the Mi 6 was a superhit smartphone when considering its popularity and demand. Because of the awesome design and powerful hardware, Mi 6 took over that price segment. So Xiaomi is actively focusing on their both parts including the powerful Mi series and the budget level Redmi Series. At the same time, they have some good devices like Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4 etc. in the budget segment. So let’s expect some improvements in the Mi 6 Plus.

Xiaomi Mi 6 key specs

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
  • 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB onboard storage
  • 5.15-inch full-HD display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels)
  • 3,350mAH battery
  • Rear 12-megapixel dual cameras

The upcoming Mi 6 Plus is expected to come with a 5.7-inch QHD display. It might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with a 6GB of RAM. However, some rumors suggest that the device will come as two RAM variants – 6GB and 8GB.  It packs a 4,500mAh battery. We guess that it would have an upgraded camera specification as compared to the Mi 6. However, it will have the same design of Mi 6.
