Meizu launched Pro 6 Plus and M3X in China

Chinese company Meizu has today unveiled two of their smartphones in China with good specifications under the sleeve. Meizu Pro 6 Plus and M3X are the two devices unveiled through company’s website. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is a flagship device, comes as the successor to Pro 6 launched earlier this year, and the M3X is a premium mid-ranger.

Meizu Pro 6 Plus is coming with a 5.7-inch sAMOLED QHD display featuring a Pressure Sensitive technology (3D Touch/3D Press), powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 Chipset which is greatly power efficient and faster to be considered in flagship lineups. The device has 4GB of RAM, comes with two storage options of 64GB and 128GB.  The CPU clock speed varies from 2GHz to 2.3GHz while concerning 64GB and 128GB.

The Pro 6 Plus smartphone sports a 12 Megapixel rear shooter powered with Sony IMX386 Sensor paired with 5MP front facing camera. The rear camera boasts a 4-axis OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). Same as the preceding Pro 6, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is also having a 10-LED flashlight ring with Laser Auto Focus for the rear camera. The smartphone also features a USB Type-C port, all the way to the 3400mAh battery pack, available in three colors – Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver and Deep Ash. The device carries a price tag of 2,999 RMB and 3,299 for basic and higher variant.

Apart from the Pro 6 Plus, Meizu has also launched a powerful mid-range device named M3X, featuring a 5.5 inch Full HD display, with 2.5D ‘curved’ glass on top. The device is powered by Mediatek’s Helio P20 SoC paired with memory options 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, expandable using SD Card. The smartphone carries a 12MP+5MP Camera combination, rear and front respectively; apart from the rear glass panel. The fingerprint scanner is on the physical home button.

Meizu M3X is juiced up with a 3200mAh battery, powered from the USB Type-C port. The device is made available in four color options Streamer Gold, Pearl White, Obsidian Black and Phantom Blue, priced at 1,700 RMB for 3GB and 2,000 RMB for 4GB variant.
