LeEco LeMax 2 announced ; powered with 6GB RAM and SD 820

Chinese manufacturer LeEco (aka LeTV) is entered into an amazing battle in smartphone industry by paving a way for powerful revolution. LeEco today unveils their three smartphones with awesome specs – Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2. Interestingly, these devices are lacking 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead, they use USB Type-C as substitute.

LeEco Le Max 2 is the most advanced device amongst the bunch of smartphones launched in China from LeEco. It features a 5.7-inches 2K display (1440 x 2560). The device is powered with the Qualcomm’s flaship moulded chipset, Snapdragon 820 under its hood, paired with an impressive RAM of 6GB and 64GB of internal storage. It sports rear camera with 21MP, uses the IMX230 sensor which features OIS,  Aperture of f/2.0 and phase detection Auto Focus technology. The secondary shooter mounted at the front panel consist of 8MP sensor.

Well, the device will have a second variant which features 4GB of RAM inside.

LeEco LeMax 2 runs Android 6.0 OS n-board topped with EUI 5.5 over it. A Qualcomm made Ultrasonic finger print scanner is located at the metal unibody rear panel, just below the camera module. The 3,100mAh battery pack is juiced up using QuickCharge 3.0, boosts up the device battery upto 70% within 30 minutes. It includes USB Type-C and in connectivity features, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, BT 4.1 and a dual-SIM support. The device is completely compatible with the company’s VR headset.

LeEco Le 2 Pro can be called as an advanced mid-ranger or a downgraded flagship. It carries some impressible specs inside. It consist a 5.5-inches FHD display. The powerful running tasks for the device is done by MediaTek Helio X25 SoC and 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of storage space. The device also uses same rear camera, but no OIS, and an 8MP camera for front facing.

LeEco embedded a feature in Le 2 Pro named CDLA – Continual Digital Lossless Audio, which provides lossless audio out of the Type-C port. The connectivity features and Quickcharge features are same as the Le Max 2, but with 3,100mAh battery. Security feature includes a fingerprint scanner too.

LeEco Le 2 is the successor device of LeEco Le 1s which has been launched last year in India and China. The LeEco Le 2 smartphone includes the features almost same or just below as the Le 2 Pro. It features the same 5.5 inch FHD display, powered with Helio X20 SoC, with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It sports a 16MP primary snapper as well as a 8MP front facing one. Rest of the specs inside the LeEco Le 2 is same as the LeEco Le 2 Pro, including 3,000 mAh battery and all.

The three devices – LeEco Le Max 2, LeEco Le 2 Pro and LeEco Le 2 are only just launched in China. These three devices’ front facing cams feature large 1.4µm pixels. Additionally, LeEco announced two pairs of headphones which utilizes the USB Type-C technology for providing better sound experiences. LeEco claims that the selling for the devices will start early in May at the price tags of : LeMax 2 – 2499CNY (6GB), 2099CNY (4GB), LeEco Le 2 pro – 1499CNY and LeEco Le 2 – 1099CNY.
