Good news for Moto G4 users. Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus devices are receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update in India. The phased global rollout began roughly two months ago and now it is the time for Moto devices. The update comes with the regular November Android security patch. It brings so many new features of Android Nougat with some performance improvements.
The update is now available for the Moto G4 series devices and your device will notify when the update is available for you. But you can manually check for the updates in the settings- about phone- system updates. Before proceeding with the update process, you must ensure that your device has more than 50% charge. The company warns the users to use Wi-Fi connection to download the update. According to Lenovo, it includes new multitasking features, more efficient notification controls and improved data saver and battery features. Despite other Nougat features, it brings a new Moto action called Swipe to shrink the screen.
